Greg Campi R.I.P.

We were saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Greg Campi, on October 14, 2010.

Greg contributed to the richness of the central valley music scene in the 60s and beyond creating seminal posters for VJ Productions and others including posters for the first Doors concerts.

He continued his art career and left his mark all over the central valley.

He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

  1. Please convey my deep sadness at Greg’s passing to all that you may have contact with. Regards – Vincent J. Lavery Dublin, Ireland.

  2. Though I hadn’t seen Greg in many years, I can close my eyes and he’s right there. I can hear his voice clearly. We shared…fill in the blank…whatever we had when we had it, and educated each other about art and the cosmos. He was gentle man and I hope he went with an unencumbered mind and at peace with those around him. He deserved that for sure. Rest in Peace Brother.

  3. On behalf of Greg’s children, I would like to thank you for acknowledging Greg and his artistic contributions to Merced’s rock snd roll history.
